1/2" of sleet at my place. Roads are absolutely terrible, the sleet seems to have little trouble accumulating on the roads, even at mid day.

I don't believe you its impossible on April 16th for that to happen.

Also I feel this is a fake or Photoshopped image from the midwest thread

Cause like so many experts here have said (IE Snobal) sun angle cannot be beaten outside of Winter. I am asking for an investigation into this matter and will press charges if there is foul play at work here.

Actually turned out to be a very nice day, sunny and rather mild. They will play the games tonight, Go Mets!

Picked up a little over 3" of rain here IMBY resulting in a lot of flooding, and one point around 5:30am Monday morning there were several vehicles stranded in high water here and there due to the heavy rain falling in such a short period of time.

Currently snowing pretty good out in the mountains of Western Maryland and West Virginia with temps ranging from the teens to the 30's with as well a wide range in accumulations from just a dusting thru out the lower elevations to several inches 5+ in the highest of elevations.

Here are a few associated images from out that way in Maryland (Keysers Ridge and Deep Creek Lake) along with Canaan Heights in West Virginia via webcams and from a friend who lives out there.

Sunday's phase of the system was a bust for us--spotty light drizzle. On Monday we were supposed to get 1-2 inches of rain, but we barely had half an inch. I wasn't too disappointed because the ground is still damp from March's snows. Part 3, however, has been a hit--we are having one heck of a late-season squall: snow pellets have given us almost half an inch in only 15 minutes!
