The GFS is showing a storm that all of us in the midwest would love to see... if it comes true! It looks like it's been around in some form or another for most of the runs so far today. The 12z run was awesome.

Here are a few images of the 12Z.





This is my first attempt at starting a storm topic. I hope I know what I'm doing!

Looks good. You beat me to it. As I was waiting for the 18z run to finish before I made it. It looks like it is still on it, though suppressed a bit.

Yeah, I just saw that. I was trying to wait but couldn't hold in the excitement! lol Like you said, it's still there. Doesn't look as good this run but we're a long way away. The good thing is it's still showing up and temps still looking cold enough.

Should get into the grid range tonight or tomorrow so we shall see. Looks like the weekend storm establishes the cold again here and this next storm IF it forms should stay south and east and cause snow for KY,OH....

new models show a massive ice storm for st louis and then changing over to a decent snowstorm
