QUOTE(Ottawa blizzard @ Nov 21 2017, 08:13 PM) *
I'll be honest with you, I'm starting to have my doubts that December will turn out as cold and snowy as has been hyped up by some media outlets. I don't think this winter is going to be anything like 2007-2008 in Ontario and Quebec.

I'm getting a bit worried as well but it's still very early and I'm staying positive until the bitter end this year.

We hit 9.4C today, a nice 5C above normal for this time of year. The snow is now gone in Barrie, I haven't seen 4 inches of snow go so fast! Yesterday we were covered with no grass showing, by lunch today it was history.

Much chillier for Wednesday with flurries and highs around -1C or so. Will be a bit of a shock after today. Highs rebound by Friday look to hit 8C again, which should hold into Saturday before things take another dip back to just below freezing.

lots of up and down over the next 10 day forecast. No snow forecast down this way yet, but some days have highs just above freezing. Other days in double digits. Fast zonal flow largely to blame.

-1C here with some light flurries this morning delivering a light dusting of snow to grassy surfaces and my deck.

This is now the 4th day this month where we have had some snow on the ground here, albeit just a light dusting.

Significant snow squalls to the west of London - especially from Grand Bend to Ailsa Craig. Just flakes IMBY at present. I think we could see a brief bout of heavy snow this afternoon as things dissipate.

Sunny conditions here going up to 13C today. If it weren't for the shorter days it would actually feel like Spring.
