Nice pix. what kind of setup were you using??? not much Nikon d3100 with a wide angle lens( tokina 12-24mm), I wanted to get as much of the sky as possible, froze my butt of, took 500 pictures, got maybe 4 meteor shots total. and one odd anomaly I can't explain, but certainly not a meteor |

Let's see the anomolay pix? Love that stuff. I'll post the picture before it later, running out for a bit. I was continuously taking pictures, less than half a second between shots, only showed up in one frame. EDIT: if you want the original file,I would gladly email it to you This post has been edited by MaineJay: Mar 10 2013, 11:34 AM |

EDIT: if you want the original file,I would gladly email it to you Thanks. to my untrained eye it looks like a little asterism. If you have a good star chart & remember what direction your camera was pointing you may be able to identify. Nice shot. (edit) Only in one frame huh? That's bizarre. Have you tried animating the two frames as a .gif just for fun? If it's only in one frame, I have no idea. Cool, either way.
