Same for us here. The 3 hr break gave a chance to push snow back before the second wave hit. It would have been poison to deal with if it was one continual blast.

I know some people left the clean up until it was all over after the 2nd blast, kind of stupid move as we had several hours of freezing drizzle in between the bouts of snow.

I seen this pic from Wednesday here which sums up conditions well, apparently the lady in the middle was walking up the street handing out timbits and coffees to shovellers lol:

Yes kindness for sure!

Seen another great pic from the aftermath, somewhere in downtown St John's where the streets are narrow and only place to park is on the street....must be crazy to live there, imagine facing this and where do you shovel the snow too? as most have none or very little front yards!



Eventually the council ship out the snow but this can take days!

Crazy !

Looks like system late week keeps going back and fourth offshore and than onshore again .. not sure if this can trend much north .. but who knows .
