To the point made to RR on another thread. Just so close to something bigger. If only Mr. Troughy wasn't positive, cuz the southern precip is certainly more intense and surely much more west than modeled, even recent models.. says the bored child.

Yo, easy dog! It takes about 2 seconds to click on and pull up link, and actually a few years ago some requested just a link, instead of having to see a couple of big maps on every page. I didn't think it was that much work!

Laziness over.

7pm map. Darker returns = priming up?

Should be seeing something falling under there in CT and RI and MA any moment. Still probably light stuff.

Can confirm intermittent wet flakes falling on LI south shore now, moisture working its way down. Lots of virga earlier layers finally starting to moisten and cool, expecting no more then a dusting on the lawns here.

Temp: 37
Wind NE 10 Gusts 14 mph
Dew 14

Updated AFD, (note that I am LINKING it, so those that do not want to see the page cluttered up don't have do. However, if you have abundant energy, click on link wink.gif ). Quite a good write up by totally inconsistent Mt. Holly, who seems to not mail it in as much as the storms near), and they explain the dry air at 850's .

Can you please stop posting links to vital information about this storm, quite annoying and the extra clicks draining my mouse batteries. Thank you.

Edit: Observations: Flurries, 36F, NE 10, Dew 32

laugh.gif tongue.gif laugh.gif Yea commented on another thread that the angst level is through the roof. Guess this annual thaw frazzled nerves. Think we are at the start of a great February pattern coming up. Has been a tough couple of winters though. This one has been great locally, but a lot have missed out.

HA. I golfed Saturday and I'm satisfied momentarily. If we don't get another 6" soon though it may as well be 55 again~

and there isn't much knocking out there either in the long term.
But we will pick away at it with each one. 21" here this season thus far.
Maybe it will be 22" by this time tomorrow.

Green Pond Country Club, Bethlehem. 120 guys showed up! They ended up shotgunning us at 11:15. It was heaven!
Some pins frozen in cups, but so what... It was great to swing! I was going nuts not playing like we have in the past few years.

Yea I heard Green Pond was open. Just great to swing I would think. They have a golf facility at back of my gym that I am starting to swing at. Have to, cuz I lift too much in winter. Going to FLA early March for a week, playing 3 x. Don't sell the next week or two too short with our weather by the way. Don't give up on Friday either for a couple. No bombs short term though.
