I remember waking up at 2 in the moring and looking outside and it was all lit up, that's how hard the snow was falling. then I heard BWI got 17 inches in 5 hrs, till this day almost 35 yrs later I still haven't seen it snow as hard as it did in that storm, I got 22 inches, and that's what got me hooked and obsessed with meteorology smile.gif

Was working in Halethorpe and living in Pasadena. Checked on my employees at 3 PM Sunday and drove home expecting to be back at 11 PM to check the night crew.

Wasn't able to get out of my neighborhood until Wednesday afternoon, after the snow plow mad a mistake and plowed our end of a double cul-de-sac street for the Volunteer Fireman that lived on the other end's cul-de-sac. Snow and drifting fully covered a car that I had parked in the street.

Never too old to have a happy childhood!
