That is interesting.

They'll probably use a fair amount of that money to improve the grid models (especially the GFS) and upgrade their equipment. But it's funny you say NOAA, because that's includes more than just the National Weather Service. But judging from what's provided in the link, it appears the NWS will receive majority of the money.

BTW, it's $830 million dollars, not $380.

lol... it will take like $700million dollars for the GFS to show things correctly! That is just to function properly...
