Now the data is in, Barrie was over 2 degrees colder this May with an average daily high of only 15.8. It was nearly twice as wet as normal with 142 mm of rain. A very blah month indeed. The GFS seems to want to keep it cool up here. It may well be below average for much of the next two weeks, but I do think they are overdoing the low temps though. This if for Saturday which will be mostly sunny and light winds out of the West. They seem to be over estimating the effect of the lakes on temps in my view. There is no way that it will only hit 18 here, more like 23ish, which is what EC are saying.

Looking at all the ensemble guidance today it appears as though we see a cool stretch next week from Tues-Thurs. Then things warm up, and at the moment all guidance shows a SE ridge developing again with widespread warmer than normal conditions through the 2nd week of June.
Another beauty today. Cooler than the last 6-7 days starting off at 12, but blue sky yet again. Heading to 21. Enjoy! -------------------- Winter 2017-2018

beauty day yet again....sun and 20. Looked like clouds built into the GTA and areas north, but blue sky down this way.
Next couple days looks to continue the trend with sun a little warmer. -------------------- Winter 2017-2018

Mmm...getting lake effect rain this afternoon...14 degrees...miserable. Jealous of your weather at the moment. Sorry to hear that. Another perfect blue sky today. I see clouds well off to the north again, but nothing but blue down here. 24 IMBY, 21 at the shoreline station. Perfect day. This has been a stunning week. -------------------- Winter 2017-2018

Hi everyone , the GFS is giving between 3 to 6" of rain for next week so i would like to know how the lakes are overthere since that rain plus some discharge from the lakes could be troublesome for here.
