I mean every storm finds a way to hammer the NE some way or another so it doesn't really matter what you call it

To be fair, it seems like they do but only to a certain point. We haven't really had any big snows this season in PA from Harrisburg/York on west this year. Though that does scare me the same might happen with this.

Of course not, but those of us that rely on synoptic events usually end up disappointed. I need to move back to the snow belt.

Call me crazy, but I'm hanging out for the Euro. Along with tomorrows runs. Something in me is saying this isn't over. Don't know why. Just a gut feeling.

Could just be gas though laugh.gif

Got my towel in hand but not throwing it yet. Want to see what tomorrows runs show too before tossing.

I agree - something tells me models may have over corrected , especially since the since the second vort hasn't been sampled. Just a feeling though- and may be wishcasting so I'll just stop right there.

Guys, it's foolish to be disappointed with any type of snowstorm. Obviously the totals have dropped, but at least we'll get snow. To echo what others have said, I have a feeling that it will correct slightly to the west tomorrow. It's not wishcasting, it's just a gut feeling from watching these models over the past decade. It's silly for us snow starved Ohio valley/Midwestern folk to complain about the potential for 3-6 inches....which would be one of the best shows we've had in two years.

Didn't realize it's been almost 2 years. That makes me a little less salty about not getting a big storm because soon we'll join the ranks of the snow starved states such as Texas and Louisiana smile.gif

That map is deceiving for Pittsburgh. It covers almost up to Erie down to WV. I donít think the Pittsburgh metropolitan area has had a WSW in a long time

It goes by the National Weather Service County Warning Area so that's why it looks like the whole area has had a warning

What your saying is true but not many models are even predicting 3-6 atm.
