Hitting links tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
Did I mention I played 9 today? Was a bit chilly. Can't wait for the warmth!!!

As I posted in the other thread, played the Banks course at Forsgate CC and it was a very tough round. Between the 50s, 20-30mph winds and intermittent rain it was not very enjoyable! dry.gif

The Grass is Cut for 1st time and the Driveway is sealed! Hallelujah!

Welcome back Mr Ridge. Not a cloud in the sky under the center of it except some convection I think. Cloudy inside the trough, good, give it to the west this time. lol

Wow, many nearby WU stations reporting 84-89 right now. I'd imagine widespread 90s tomorrow.. (was supposed to be near that anyways, but temps today are generally 4-8deg above fcst.)

Ditto. finally got a chance to mow and cleanup all the refuse from the Winter storms. So many small stick and branches scattered about and embedded in the lawn. beautiful day with full sunshine and around 73, perfect!

So dry at the surface quite anomalous especially this time of year normally we start to really surge in the low level dews. Helping really push up those highs while also bringing with it the relatively cool nights. Changes of 30-40 degrees in a day very desert like atmosphere. I completely wish the dews would stay this low even slightly higher is fine but know those 60's and even 70's are just around the corner. Kind of glad we got most of our rains in the cooler period and have had time to dry out because we would really have a different scenario if we had got continuous rains up until mid/late april.

If we manage to stay relatively dry though that might be something of interest for temps down the road.

I would love a desert like climate...for summer only. Dont like how hot they stay yr round though.

Speaking of ranges....

Todays Min & Max temps.. How about this for a range? Some stations went from 30s to 80s today. Lots of 30s to 70s.

Snuck out for the first of the year round yesterday, at the local course. It was surprisingly "damp" on the ground, but there were no clouds in the sky, very warm and breezy. I had a A frame shirt under my polo and had to take it off due to it becoming too warm to have both on. May sun angle is quite stout laugh.gif .

As for the round, horrible first five but on 7-9 and then the turn, I started to "remember" and played much better (missed like 3 birdie putts and 5 par putts though sad.gif )

Used mine when I left work yesterday on the old 97 F150 to make sure it was still kicking. It kicked, I smiled. One less thing to worry about this summer laugh.gif

Fire to A/C within 2 days. Almost turned it on last night. Got stuffy. No wind with windows open.
Tonight for sure it'll be on.

70s already by 10am.....and there's no shade.

Hit 80 just after 11 AM and holding steady, very light SE wind shift at 2 PM trying to bring in the sea breeze and cool things off but not making headway just yet. It is almost hot here at the shore on LI, very rare for this time of year with the water temps still relatively cold. Its just lovely out there right now.

Yea those low dews are really helping those temps to be higher than forecasted, even from model perspective, across the area and the right position to get downsloping we are getting it lol

We might have lower temps tomorrow though than today with the possibility of setting up a lee trough activity and the large push of moist air into the region more typical for this region. Also to watch for debris from overnight convection in the midwest but still low to mid 80s (82-85) seems reasonable.
