That was one surprising thunderstrom. Did not expect it to hold together the whole way through. Lots of thunder and lightning and a decent rainfall.

Around 6 PM there was heavy rain followed by gusty winds and hail in Palmyra, PA. The storm was a quick hitter and was in and out within 15 minutes. Impressive little cell and much cooler air after it exited the area.

Got some decent storms in here last night, lots of lightning and thunder but very little in the way of rain. Looks like a very wet period coming up with 10 of the next 14 days forecast for rain, some quite heavy in SNE and MA.

My ride back from Roseland NJ was unbelievable. 50 MPH heading north on the GSP inches from the Audi in front of me, with a pickup truck with its high beams on inches behind me, 3 wide, through a construction zone, inches from the Jersey barrier as lightning is striking the ground every 20 seconds miles ahead of me and buckets of rain being splashed onto the windshield. On 60,000 mile tires to boot. I'm ready for NASCAR - be less stressful.
