Yea same here, ready for hunting too, also ready for the temp to get up too, just got a new bike, ready to ride back to work with it, While i was getting a new bike i felt why not go in debt big time so i bought a new car also, ouch that hurt the bank account big time, but you only live once, can't take it with you, might as well spend it now. laugh.gif

You got that right about taking it with you..needing a new car myself. Wife wants a mini van to haul the two grandkids around..not sure yet what route to take. We dont have a bike but we do have a convertable we ride the back roads on these warm days...Blue Ridge Parkway is only a mile or so away from our house. Its a great mountain ride. Seen a gang of 50 turkeys going out my drive the other morning. Gobblers all struting and I guess the hens are beginning to lay and nest. I hear the gobblers as soon as I get home in the am at daylight. Pretty sounds.
What type of car you get if you dont mind me asking?

I got a 2014 dodge dart i wen't with gas mileage, because i live 40 miles away from work,i also got a 2013 yamaha royal star venture thier version of a full dresser,i got all the bells and whistles you can put on it.That way i can ride in comfort to and from work, i've always wanted a full dresser now i've got one, the bike cost more than the car did, pluse the car is pretty well equiped too,it rides well too,and not too bad looking for a small car.

I havent been at swing shift as long as you ..only 14 years...but I can relate. I am 58 and I know what you are talking about getting old and sometimes you wonder if you can stand up when you get out of bed cause things hurt and crack..lol. It takes some moving to get things working sometimes..lol. I try to keep moving with some farm work on the side and I garden some too. So...I try to keep the body moving.lol.

Cool. I almost went with the Dart but got the Chrysler 200 instead. Kinda wish I would have went for the gas mileage. What does the Dart get for mpg?

I do like the 6 speed auto, it makes the little 4 banger a little more sporty.
