So the GFS is 6" and the NAM is 12". Is this correct?

Hamilton, Brantford to London could see 20-25cms or locally more with Lake enhacement from this. In the bullseye at the moment.

We are still a few days away and in the bullseye..not good, right?

Both are showing 10+ inches according to the IWM plots I just posted for your area ATM...but I wouldn't bank it yet! As bigsnowstorms says...not always best to be in the bullseye with over 48 hours to go!

Looks like 18z NAM might be coming in a bit more north this run with the first wave.

Still lots of time with this one i would think that the track of the first wave will not waver to far NW or SE but there will be slight wobbles either way over the next couple of days,if the GTHA can get in on both waves that would be great!

First wave is better for us up here, second wave looks to follow a very similar line and be long lasting, maybe 24 hours. Could turn into an epic storm for someone if the get a double bullseye...as much as 30-40cms up for grabs in the prime spots I would suspect. This is the first wave total:

The 3kz nam & 18 z gfs are further south than the 12kz nam.

That's what I'm hoping for. We are running out of places to put the snow. 10 is ok more is going to be an issue.

Keep in mind, the end of the NAM is still not in its great range.

Environment Canada put out a map this afternoon for 10-15 cm from Barrie south but we know that will change...snow Friday, Saturday and Sunday according to CP24. Wow, who let the dogs out!

got that map?

I have it on my work email, it is for emergency/ first responders to give them the heads up for bad weather for staffing / emergency preparedness on the roads. I will post it in the morning but there will likely be an updated map before day's end. Others here have posted them from time to time. I personally think things will change before the weekend, if we are in the sweet spot now, it will always change. Will do tomorrow...but yeah, that's what it said...eventually they are going to release those maps to the public. It is the same for summer except they release it for major thunderstorms & tornado probabilities...I just happen to be an Admin Assistant who works there and loves wicked weather....stay tuned!!
