This clipper is starting to get a little beefier, and at the right time, on the GFS. Here's the 12z:

Still not a whole lot, but considering what this was looking like a couple days ago on the GFS, it's a great improvement. Will post the 18z when it is through that time-frame.

Yet another in a series of clipper systems will spread a swath of light snow from the Midwest into the Ohio Valley tonight.

This series of clipper systems is a continuation of a parade of clippers.

Yet another in the series of clippers will dive from the Midwest into the Ohio Valley tonight bringing yet another round of snow. This same clipper will track through the mid-Atlantic on Monday.

The snow accumulations combined with cold temperatures will make for slick and snow-covered roads as well as slow travel. Visibilities will be reduced, requiring extra caution and leaving greater distances between vehicles while moving.

Additional rounds of nuisance clipper systems will continue into the middle of the week.

More light snow is on the way for towns and communities from the Great Lakes to the mid-Atlantic as yet another fast-moving storm originating from western Canada, called an Alberta Clipper, races east.

The latest system is just one in a parade of clippers. that have been impacting many of the same areas since late last week.

As is the case with most clippers, this storm system will produce a general light coating to a couple inches of snow with higher amounts possible in the higher elevations of the Appalachians. While significant snowfall is not expected, the snow will be a nuisance; especially for travelers.

This storm will not be the last in the parade of clippers. At least two more clippers are in the works for many of the same areas. Stay tuned to AccuWeather.com as we detail these clippers in the coming days.

Yet another in a series of Alberta Clippers will track southeast into the Great Lakes by Tuesday afternoon. This particular clipper will affect areas farther north than the previous, but as is usually the case with these type of storms, there is a limited amount of moisture, so we are looking at a light snowfall.

The storm will weaken a bit as it tracks into eastern Ontario and southern Quebec Tuesday night, but I could still see a general 2 to 4 cm of snow for the GTA and up into Ottawa.
