I'm at the molson centre for the ice fishing show.... holy cow did Barrie get allot of snow in 4 hrs! At least 15 cm here in the parking lots...

I'm at the molson centre for the ice fishing show.... holy cow did Barrie get allot of snow in 4 hrs! At least 15 cm here in the parking lots... This is pretty normal for a decent squall. It compacts quite quickly, so in a couple of days it will be half that...still really beautiful though. Expecting much more mid week, maybe 30cms. |

Looks good everyone . Got an additional 6 cm this morning for a total of 16cm from last night . It was like a snow globe here a couple hours ago. What a difference that Huron squall really hit out on the escarpment but Alliston only received 2cm from that band last night! Another 4cm fell this morning from that band sinking south across the area. Incredible the difference . Heading into Barrie now to see the damage. Edit:Just measured 11cm in SW Barrie from that squall earlier. It's a winter wonderland out there. Unreal.
