Apparently the 12 Z GFS brings some really hot air into the region..however..as is per usual its the long range GFS and its ensembles would not agree with what the operational is suggesting

Looks like a glitch, but they probably fixed it. I checked my 15-day forecast and nothing seems unusual about it.

yeah i saw this, it was on alot of places but its ok now
the 15 day had death valley,ca with a high of 141, real feel of 150 degrees -------------------- There is no such thing as boring weather.

yeah i saw this, it was on alot of places but its ok now the 15 day had death valley,ca with a high of 141, real feel of 150 degrees Although not as extreme as that forecast had shown, Death Valley may make it into the low 120's this weekend. Check out the thread on the CA heat wave. -------------------- |

My 15 day has me at 56 degrees on June 17 while the NE is sitting in the 100s. That's realistic

I know the issue of the 15 day forecast has been brought up a ton of times, but man is it pretty useless past 10 days. But Jesse basically said- hey the people want it, so accuweather gives it to them
