Radar Loop Wednesday the 16th 7pm to Thursday the 17th 7pm

You can actually depict the 2 Jet Streams. Too bad there wasnt a phase this time.

Heavy snow shower coming through here. (Denver, PA - 12 miles SW of Reading, PA) Roads and sidewalks are white. Temp falling the past hour from 28.4 to 26.8.

Temps dropped from 30.3 to 27 in past 30 minutes, finally we have some true cold air moving in although short lived until next week. Oh how I've missed you carhartt jacket.

Im still surprised there was no snow reports from NJ. I guess many will call this "The Virga Storm" but many will remember it as a snowstorm with 1-3" on the capes, Virginia and NC and 6-12" for higher elevations of Virginia/NC

Sounding for Long Island (Upton) at 7pm shows a very dry lower/mid level even though it was snowing above 9000 feet.

I am down in lower Delaware today. It snowed last night for a few hours in the
Georgetown, Long Neck area with much of it melting. We ended up with approx.
1/2 inch and everything coated. Being close to the ocean usually effects the
accumulation.
