Having a party tomorrow night here on LI hoping it only rains in the morning and just stays overcast the rest of the day.

Another short round of heavy rain for the Cap region. Just when it looked like we might escape too. Should be the last one for the evening as daylight wanes more quickly with each passing day.

Hope to maybe see some Perseid meteors this weekend.

Here ya go bud. That lovely red batch that ran through PA was me golfing. No T&L, just some big rains, but what else is new here in Seattle, PA. More to come.

Cranky:
What keeps the pockets of showers going tonight (vs prior nights of sundown collapse) is a pocket of divergence aloft.

Oh good, grass isn't quite over my head yet, and my big green, non - ripe tomatoes aren't completely underwater yet, as they rot out from the bottom. The 40 pepper plants must luv this though, as they are radioactively high. Cucumbers at biblical proportions.

I could use the rain tonight, only had some sprinkles so far tonight. Not enough sun this year to get those tomatoes ripe. Pepper plants here didn't grow at all for some reason. It's watermelons run amuck everywhere.

0.40" inches in one hour is noticeable, yet I did not notice. Something seems amiss, but that divergence mentioned earlier is right above, and it's training the area, so maybe.

Just got in after having been chased off the river (fishing) by the lightning. It was not really close to us but wouldn't move off and then did start coming closer. Then I saw the Perry Co Warning and decided I'd better check in.

Missing the heavy part in this shower but still getting some steady rain. I've got my eyes on those 2 red blobs out your way.
