I'm sure somehow New Tripoli will become the epicenter again. Go northwest young man, hit Clapper or Pocono or someone that wants severe weather. Here, we are the Beleaguered Bostards of Bastogne.

I think boston cream filled donuts are filled with custard cream, but never heard of this mashup.

I'm home in Wilkes-Barre this week and it's basically Seattle, but with stronger thunderstorms. This is absurd. I really need two more days of warm weather though. Uggh. I'm really happy that Saturday is going to be amazing, but again, come on Mother Nature, you couldn't give me a warm Thursday/Friday? (Yes, I realize that if it was going to be hot on Friday, it would almost definitely rain and the chances for Saturday being so nice wouldn't be as high.

Watch should be out anytime now:

QUOTE
Mesoscale Discussion 1552
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0208 PM CDT Tue Aug 22 2017

Areas affected...Northern Middle Atlantic

Concerning...Severe potential...Severe Thunderstorm Watch likely

Valid 221908Z - 222015Z

Probability of Watch Issuance...95 percent

SUMMARY...Severe threat will increase across the northern Middle
Atlantic over the next several hours. Damaging winds are possible
with convection that spreads into this region and a Severe
Thunderstorm Watch will likely be issued by 20z.

DISCUSSION...Strong boundary-layer heating continues along a
corridor from the Delmarva into the northern Middle Atlantic where
temperatures have warmed through the mid 80s to near 90F. CU field
is gradually deepening across the higher terrain of central PA/NY
ahead of two distinct convective lines that are gradually maturing
towards well-organized squall lines. The leading squall line will
likely be the primary severe threat as it advances across the
remainder of WWs 461/462 into a region of untapped instability
characterized by MLCAPE on the order of 2000 J/kg. Given the
large-scale support ahead of the upper trough these organized bands
of convection should progress into the lower Hudson Valley and
eastern PA by late afternoon.
