Sad to report ORD broke the 300+ days record of not recording an inch. They reported 1.1inches from this clipper.

What a nice storm this was. I got 3" here and hearing reports of 4.5" in Huber Heights. I was expecting a bust but instead won... seems like 2-4" was right on...
Sadly I was in school and didn't get to track this thing but it seemed to be over in like 4 hours - 3" in 4 hours? Not bad... And my driving home back was pretty tough - I got stuck 2 times because my wheels aren't for snow ( If anyone has a radar animation of the storm please post |

Went outside with a ruler and was going to measure. Quickly realized it was pointless so I just snapped a few pictures lol.

Is this thread for the impending ice storm in IL? Nope. That's the 27th....I'm watching that closely. Got 1.1/1.2 inches from this storm. As I'm less than 10 miles from o'hare, I'll just go with their reports. It looks wintery out there. Was a pretty nice event, eyeball measurement suggests between 2 and 3" which was dead on in the forecast. It was the really pretty snow - light, fluffy, and shiny. I was eating dinner in this little cafe and the falling snow in the city painted the nicest picture.
Edit: Just looked at the storm reports, seems quite a bit of Wayne country reported 3-4" events, so it's probably closer to 3" that fell. Not bad at all. This post has been edited by Playa21: Jan 26 2013, 10:17 AM -------------------- Winter 2012-2013
