Bulk of the storms are just about to head into the Detroit/Windsor area. Watches up in extreme SW Ont. Wish I didn't work today I would have made the trip down to storm chase.

Special weather statement now for 30-50mm of rain. If a few good storms hit we should end up on the high end

Ya maybe it's just my imagination but it seems like our area could end up seeing much more than 30mm. Maybe some 50-70mm amounts??

Just picked up 20mm of rain in the last hour. At 62mm for the day so far. Looks like we'll see amounts in the 70-100mm range in Hamilton today.

Thanks for sharing pics... Makes up for some of the ground moisture loss due to lack of snow I guess

It just poured sideways the entire day. Would have been a dream scenario in winter. haha. NE winds gusting to 60-70km, heavy rain. Roads were like rivers all over the city. Even today lots of water still running off and receding.
