Lake effect snow showers making it down to the N NJ area - for the most part I would think a dusting with some areas further inland perhaps over 1/2".

Bands to the north and to my south of course. There is still a tiny bit left from last nights little squall but this is not what winter is supposed to be like, thrilled to see snow showers in the interior northeast with mainly bare grass.

When I saw the radar this morning I was a bit surprised at the coverage of moderate snow.

But a bit suprised like many that half foot of snow fell in southern NJ.
