Figured i would go ahead and start it. Looks like a slight risk event will move through the Midwest and Ohio Valley in the Thursday, Friday timeframe. GFS isn't picking up much on the severe threat, but has done a awful job picking up on things past 84hrs. Does appear like the main threat will be damaging winds with a few isolated tornadoes. Something to certainly watch though.

I think alot of people are underestimating this clipper system at the end of the weekend thru Monday. Their will be a LOW located somewhere around Oklahoma, and with strong southerly winds through Tennessee, i think we could get some decent moisture returns in the Ohio Valley, during the same time, a LOW will ride along the Ohio River. With that said widespread 1-3" snowfall accumulations are possible, with higher amounts certainly possible.

Darker Blue is the greatest potential for accumulating snows.

Hey what is the difference between a green shaded triangle and a non-shaded triangle on the GR Level 3. I believe there hail markers, but what do each mean?

Is there some storm chasers that storm chase for a living.
