Can someone just inform me of what happened to cause the expected amounts to drop? Is the secondary going to form too far offshore? Is the primary clipper to far north?

By here in Mahopac NY, Picture Perfect not a cloud in the sky and just around 35 or so degrees. The calm before the storm. Looking like most models show 3-6 by me so I will take that happily to add it to my total and hope that one or both of the storms in the end of Feb early march hit me hard.

Since this is considered a "regular" type storm with mixing to the south and and snow to the north, the Anti -Snow Dome has now reared its ugly head stifling any signif accum in these locations. It just took the mets a little longer to come to this realization.

Snow accum formula is simple. Just take 80% of the the bottom number of what the mets say, or just listen to what Yogi says....It aint gonna snow where it aint gonna snow and that's just as good as money in the bank.

Any new developments on where the low is comparded to the models? Which model is doing the best job now at tracking this storm? It looks strong and compact on radar.
