Detroit, Michigan (the greatest city on earth IMO). Detroit is extremely underrated when it comes to cities. People always like to focus on the negatives when it comes to Detroit (which I'll admit there are many things that could make it a better place), but they are trying and succeeding IMO in making it a fun place to be again. Downtown is always fun, and there's some great restaurants down there (Lafayette Coney Island & Slow's BBQ come to mind). I'm from the northern suburbs of Detroit. I like my town, it's for sure suburbia, but it definitely has a small-town feel to it still. -------------------- |

I like my town, it's for sure suburbia, but it definitely has a small-town feel to it still. Personally, I'm a fan of American Coney Island. If you know or learned about Detroit of the 1950s, you would understand the disappointment many people feel. Unfortunately, until its full potential is reached again, I'll prboably venture elsewhere after college. |
