 Source of the Mississippi? |

I don't know if this has too much to do with weather but since it is a river that can flood I was just wondering where all of the water in the Mississippi River comes from. I am kind of confused because I think Minnisota is a weird place to have a source of a river seeing that they don't have any mountain ranges up their I was just wondering.
