A modest proposal to explore, a cluster computer model similar to microcast run by accuwx members. We do have a model-blend-based system, but we have not been very impressed by the high-res models that we've seen so far - considering the cost. Although high-res models can discern things such as individual thunderstorms or lake-effect snow bands, they still can't necessarily get them in the right place. Believe me, we are always tweaking our master database and are looking towards the future, there are many folks working on improvements right now. -------------------- -- Jesse Ferrell, FORUM ADMIN & MODERATOR
