Does anyone have any data from this storm, particularly the 500mb charts as well as the surface maps? I've searched extensively for info about it but very little seems to be hard to come by.
Thanks |

Thanks Go to the Daily Weather Maps Home Page. This is the best resource I have found for historic surface maps and upper charts (when available). You will need to download a special browser plug-in to be able to view any of the maps up until 2002. They are .djvu files. -------------------- Brian Clark

I am working on this event as well as the October 4, 1987 event. Actually I am trying to go through all the old newspapers to fill in the gaps with the snow totals. Here is the 500mb loop for the May 1977 event from 12z 8 to 12z 10. Visit My Website Does anyone have any data from this storm, particularly the 500mb charts as well as the surface maps?
