I have seen the I-95 Blizzard of '06 dump about 4-8" per hour for 3 hours in the Tri-State Area. biggrin.gif

I got 5" in an hour last year and not all of it was snowing heavy. I can't remember a time where it snowed so heavy, but it only lasted an hour.

During the Blizzard of 2006 I saw rates up to 5" an hour with lightning and 30 mph winds. Only storm that I think could beat that was the Superstorm of 93 IF we didnt change over to rain. We saw incredibly heavy rain during that storm.

Blizzard of 2005 I saw a report from Plymouth, MA of 8" of snow in 75 minutes.
