A group of graduates, well establiished in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired. During their visit, the conversation turned into complaints about stress in their work and lives. Offering his guest hot chocolate , the professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot chocolate and an assortment of cups- porcelain, glass, crysta;,some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite- telling them to help themselves to the hot chocolate

When they all had a cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said: "Notice that all the nice looking, expensive cups are taken, leaving behind the plain and cheap once. While it is normal for you to want only the bes for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. The cup that you're drinking from adds nothing to the quality of the hot chocolate. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was hot chocolate, not the cup; but you consciously went for the best cups....and then you began eyeing each other's cups

Now consider this: Life is the hot chocolate; your job , money and position in society are the cups. they are just tools to hold and contain life. The cup you have does not define, nor changes the quality of life you have. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup,we fail to enjoy the hot chocolate.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything that they have.

Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were diving in the right lane when suddently a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches! The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi diver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, he was really friendly.

So I asked," Why did ou just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, "THe Law of the Garbage Truck."

He explained that many peeople are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of dissappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Dont take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Dont take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage rucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so... 'Love the people that treat you right. Pray for the ones who dont'

Life is 10% what you make it and 90% how you take it

He meant Forest Gump. It was a funny!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body.

Rather it should be to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and the Good Book in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO what a ride!"
