The low pressure in MO is making this storm move more NE now. AS said down to around 1000-1001 mb. As the storm gets digging, even more, the precip should start to shift to th NW Hckyplayer... i would not worry just yet!

Triple phasing appears to have commenced. There are two large jet streaks, one to the southwest of the low and the second around central mexico wrapping into the storm. Also the northern stream shortwave looks to have slowed to a crawl perhaps telling us that this is finally truly phasing. Although looking at a more defined water vapor image, it appears there is only a northern stream and southern stream, with the two large jet streaks a result of these two streams. But yet, what is the one over mexico then? Atown, I am looking more and more pleased with this forecast. Great map from you. I will be posting one soon as well. Also the low according to the latest HPC surface analysis map shows the low just northeast of the eye like feature.
