I thought that Purple Cow went out of business. Maybe they just left the Houston market.

So today I get up after working all night and decide to strap on my brushcutter and mow the back field. No gas so I'm off to get gas, but also bring a can to get regular gas for the riding lawnmower at my house #2, I get gas and head over there (20 miles away) my wife wanted me to get the rider running, I don't know how to work it so I think the battery is toast and go buy a new one, the new one won't do anything either so I finally figure out you need the brake on to get it to start, $30 down the toilet... I come home and start brushcutting for an hour but it's tough cause I'm out of new blades and after you hit enough rock it don't cut so good!! but I got the job done. Went back to town on the way to work and bought 3 new 10" brush blades so I'm ready for next time ($47) Stopped at the Purple Cow resturant and got a seafood platter to bring to work, and here I sit with a tummy ache from eating it all.... And that's todays report boys and girls!! And this is why he is such a wild and crazy guy! -------------------- Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. ![]() Yes not only do you need the brake on, you have to be sitting in the seat as there is a sensor to make sure you are in it!! And the mower deck must be disengaged, I don't even know how to engage that....Funny I can drive 18 wheelers, run cranes, loaders, bulldozers, run a 12 story high boiler, build a house, wire it and put in the plumbing....but I FAIL at ridding mowers.... -------------------- " it don't get no better than this "

so I decided it was beer bottling day, bottled 18 gallons of Irish Stout, and filled a 5 gallon keg with Pilsner. Then started 15 gallons of Pilsner and 5 gallons of IPA. Swapped 2 empty kegs out of the 7 tap keggerator in my livingroom so I'm ready for the weekend. So my wife and I are fishing at camp yesterday and the wind was blowing like a huricane!! We were having a hard time finding fish (I wanted some whitefish, I'm getting tired of cleaning perch) so finally we went to the rest area spot and caught white perch as fast as you could put the line down. I had to work today OT cause you can't say no to double time (that and I have to pay for the new 43' dock I bought for camp last week), vacation starts tomorrow, my wife will be fishing alone today, I expect a call this afternoon about the big bass she will catch.

So we had about 60 white perch that needed cleaning yesterday, showed my wife how to clean them with the electric knife, she just called and they are all done, how sweet is that!!
2 1/2 more hours and I'm off to camp for 4 days of fishing, last of the season, fishing ends on the 30th. Ice fishing starts January 1st if the ice is thick enough. Camp: http://photo.accuweather.com/photogallery/...+fall+sept+2010 -------------------- " it don't get no better than this "

Got into a school of giant white perch this week, nice way to end the fishing season. Foliage is turning fast, the rain brought many leaves to the ground. Stopped at the lobster store on the way home yesterday and they had a sale on jumbo soft shell lobsters, $4.99lb. so I bought three, they were around 4lbs each, I ate two of them and 2lbs of steamers, I was FULL!!
