Hey you computer-savvy folks, I could use a hand!
I think I got a virus this afternoon...something called "SpywareSoft". Did some reading and it seems to be a fake antispyware program that tricks you into thinking your computer is infected. It keeps popping false error messages up and seems to actually be blocking legitimate antivirus software. Anyone have any experice with this that could possibly help? Thanks! -------------------- ![]() |

Safe mode with networking so it doesn't start up along with Windows.
Download a legit antimalware or antispyware and scan for that. Go back to regular mode and run your antivirus. |
