You can say that again...when my next paycheck comes in a week and a half, I'm purchasing a subscription. BTW...just to calm any lingering fears of mine, will Pro work fine on a MAC OSX 10.6 via Safari? BTW, God Bless all of you Mods and Jesse for your hard work on making this all possible...this new addition for no additional charge is absolutely stupendous, just showcasing another way in which Accuweather really cares for its community. Thank you again. You are most welcome. And thanks for the kind words. It means a lot! -------------------- |

Kab, you edited your post.
Go to the Animator and check all the ECMWF parameters and the all the GFS and NAM parameters. There were lots already but they included even more two days ago while adding the ECMWF. The Animator rocks with all of its models and parameters, especially the ECMWF, GFS and NAM. I mean best CAPE, surface CAPE and Best LI rock on the NAM. Then LLJ parameter and many height levels of Lapse rates on the NAM and GFS, are also fantastic. And finally all the ECMWF parameters including CAPE, QPF, 2-m temperatures and even 10-meter winds and 10-meter gusts for tropical weather, sea surface temperatures for tropical weather and even total snow in inches!! -------------------- |

Members like you are the reason why we felt that this would be the deal breaker! We discussed how this would push the fence riders over the edge for sure. Ya, and it seems to be working. I had Storm Vista's Euro in the winter, honestly while helpful, wasn't great. The full ECMWF will be an unbelievably helpful tool for all who get a subscription for Pro. |

I like the feature on the Animator in which you can place multiple parameters in the same sequence like WUnderground forecast maps does with the NAM and GFS. -------------------- |

My one issue...and I don't know if anyone here can help or not. Is that I have a PayPal account, and it says that they will accept PayPal as a method of pay, however I am not finding an option to actually pay with paypal where it asks for your billing information.

To me this sounds more of a website issue as the website designers 'forgot' to place the button there. As John eluded to...they are in the know now. -------------------- |

What it says is QUOTE We also accept payment via the PayPal™ Plug-In. We accepted the PayPal Plugin only (because it works with any website -- actually integrating PayPal is extremely difficult with our legacy software). Unfortunately, they have discontinued it. It was really neat, it essentially created a "fake credit card number" based on your PayPal information. -------------------- -- Jesse Ferrell, FORUM ADMIN & MODERATOR

I would really like to see more "tropical" views, i.e. vorticity w/SLP similar to this site:

I saw the word plug-in when I went back and re-looked at the payment options, but noticed like you it was discontinued. Are you guys planning on integrating PayPal into your payment methods, or is it one of those things where people will have to suck it up until they get an actual credit card? |

Get a debit card...easier and cheaper. Yup. Keep a minimum amount on the debit and NEVER link it to your savings. If you link it and you lose your card, you risk losing everything. -------------------- Troll Mode engaged due to the explosion of the Philadelphia Flyers by their worthless management.

I'm not sure i will pay for something available free (all ECMWF gribs are free). Of course the presentation tools is your creation , and that could worth something - it's your business.
Still, free products are available to download the gribs and present them on nice maps. |

Still, free products are available to download the gribs and present them on nice maps. There are multiple ECMWF parameters that we utilize here that are not available for free. If you have a link providing something to the contrary, please provide that. EDIT: A quick search on the ECMWF website shows that Ensemble Members, Verification, and Deterministic Forecast are only available for free regarding Medium Range Forecasting. Anything w/o the asterisk is free from this section. -------------------- |
