I hit 44" today I'll take yet another wild guess and go with 60.3", assuming that things calm down once tomorrow night's storm ends. I think I need to revise this number once again... I'm currently at 57.6" for the winter, I'm not sure exactly how much NYC has so far but I think it also could be over 50". I'm guessing a total of 70" in NYC and 72" IMBY, hopefully this will be my final guess this time This post has been edited by NYCSuburbs: Jan 27 2011, 06:09 PM -------------------- Visit my weather website for the NYC area

NYC------78.3 (breaking the 1995-96 season record) Bos-------86.5 PHI-------67.4 DC-------48.2 I know its going out on a limb in NYC but we are just about half way there and will be more than halfway there after this storm. And with the snowiest month of the winter (Feb, traditionally) to go along with storms predicted into April, yea, I think its quite possible. What a shame NYC couldn't break the record. I thought it was a lock because NYC had close to 60 inches by Feb 1st. February was horrible. March is also coming in terrible. La Nina FTW Everyones first guess busted significantly for NYC Everyone was banking on the strong La Nina. No one believed that the blocking would sustained the Nina for a period. ALso, NYC had 2 HECS this winter. That is really rare in a La Nina winter. -------------------- Anthony
