I don't intend to promote novels here, but there is one on the market that is germane to this forum. It's written by Michael Crichton and is entitled State of Fear. I didn't realize until after I'd picked it up that it is centered on global warming and climate change. In the body of the novel the author provides a lot of data that supports serious doubts about global warming as a "fact" of life. In the back of the book he provides an extensive bibliography supporting his viewpoint. I haven't yet delved deeply into the datasets he describes (been on the road all week), but it should prove to be an interesting exercise in research and data interpretation. I invite all the readers of this forum to read the book and do your own research with an open mind. One suggestion: check out the book from a library or borrow it from someone else. I'm not trying to increase Crichton's sales here!!

I love Chriton's stuff...I'll have to check that one out.
