As the hurricane season is starting to come to an end, I opened a poll about which storm(s) could be retired, with the list above including hurricanes/tropical cyclones that made landfall, caused more than minimal damage, and/or caused a lot of deaths.
My vote is for Hurricane Karl only, which caused billions of dollars in damage to the part of Mexico where it made landfall. November 1: Hurricane Tomas is now added to the poll above.
