Just a place to talk about San Francisco Bay Area and Central California Coast weather.....
A mostly 'Mediterranean' climate moderated by cool Pacific Ocean temperatures (50's) with an extremely challenging mix of terrains and micro-climates. Is there an "East-Coast" bias when it comes to weather (not unlike in Sports) because the weather can be more 'dramatic' and well-publicized on the East Coast. Californians know that despite long periods of "boring" weather that the weather is unique. Changes in temperature and precipitation amounts can vary widely in the space of just a few miles with all of the mountains, valleys, and the waterways of the Bay and Delta. Here is a space to talk of local weather, forecasts, and information about the San Francisco Bay Area. -------------------- Perception is everything
