*static charges and buzzing sounds erupt from six foot tear in the fabric of reality*

...

*from out of the mysterious emerges ironwood*

Hello EE I see not much has changed. I'm glad to have rediscovered this place. But, I find a disappointing lack of monuments erected in my honor. I would have expected no less than fifteen virgins and some cherry scented candles.

But I digress. How is everyone? Where are all the old EE players at? I'll be digging through the archive if you need me. See you all soon.

Behold...the man behind the legend. The last thing I remember is Corrupting you and then poof!
Gone like a thief in the night. It was all a joke you know! You were supposed to laugh and move
on...mentally, not physically...I thought I made that plain! unsure.gif Well welcome back and
don't be a stranger.

His last post until now was back on May 3. Not much of a summer person, I assume.

If there is something here more important than my ego, I want it dragged in, shot then drawn and quartered. Because it has been weighed, measured, and found wanting.

Odd. Now that you've mentioned it, I want to see all of that happen to my avatar. It would make me smile.

It's Vulpix, and I never was really into Pokemon. Of course, I was the prime target audience for it in the late 90s/early 00s...I've always had this creepy secretive mentality of enjoying cutesy-adorable little creatures get killed/slaughtered (not real ones, of course). I remember liking Happy Tree Friends back in 2005-2006, if anyone knows what that is...Not that any of the above that justifies it anymore I guess laugh.gif

Happy tree friends. Yeah, used to watch that online. I wasn't into poker mans either. I liked picachu though. Had a little plastic one glued to the dash of my first car. I'll never forget when I was in highschool some kids got in trouble for having...how would I put this...adult oriented pokeman comix? That was the big fear for a while, YOUR KIDS ARE BEING CORRUPT BY JAPANESE ANIME! lol, t'was funny.

Unfortunately I know exactly what you're talking about. They weren't pokemon themed, there's a word for this but I can't mention it here without being warned. That kind of stuff started to become really popular with the rise of the internet starting in 2005. Years of experience all around the internet, from the nicest & most useful sites to the darkest corners of humanity's online presence. Glad I no longer associate with the latter though.

Oh...OH! you see, I never had a chance to look at 'em. Your talking about this, *pulls large plush badger costume from bag*
a little fursecution going on, eh? Believe it or not, I've been roaming the bowels of the Internet. I've seen the end, the beginning, and most in between. The majority can't be mentioned here. *places costume away* yes friends. I'm one of the ones who stand and observe the going ons in the under belly. I have my tales. But not tails. *ba-dum, tish!*

......yeah.....I know exactly what you're referring to, but I don't even want to mention the word because I feel like just saying it is like pulling a "GO BACK 3 SPACES" card (or 3 years, in this case). Even back when I did goto all of those sites, I just kinda watched the people & their various predictable preset dialogue patterns as well as the images they created & posted - all from an "outside view" perspective. Kinda like watching a city in time lapse, except in this case it would be more of a slum.
