Keanu Reaves has confirmed in an interview that he will be a part of two more Matrix movies to come, stating that he feels he still has an obligation to deliver a movie worthy of the title "The Matrix".
I'm pretty optimistic.... I'm assuming that the Wachowski's are on the same page with him in regards to the sequels not being the movies the fans wanted to see, and I'm excited to see if they can come close to the first film again. In a related note, the Wachowski's have submitted a script for a futuristic Robin Hood movie to star Will Smith. Funny timing that those two projects are announced at the same time, IMO, since Will Smith turned down the role of Neo to make Wild, Wild West. Sure he's still kicking himself over that one. This is the first I have heard about this, but at this point I am skeptically optimistic. I loved the first Matrix movie, but thought the last 2 were steaming piles. My biggest problem with the last 2 is primarily that they didn't really answer any questions. I was left unfulfilled and wanting. IMO, part of the draw of the first film was the depth of writing and the great plot. The action bits were a bonus. The last 2 were action movies first with watered down plot lines that vaguely resembled the first movie. My next question would be; are they going to be a continuation of the original movies, or a rewriting of the last 2 movies? -------------------- |

Also been rumors floating that Keanu and the Other Guy are thinking of making a new Bill and Ted movie. You just know it's going to be excellent.

You know, I watched The Matrix this weekend, and realized I still don't know what the heck that movie is about. I even posted that on Facebook. Don't worry..I don't think anyone knows what the movies are about...they really don't have a solid storyline...but you can bet te next 2 movies will be in 3D -------------------- Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.

RUFUS was George Carlin's character on Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. I had to look it up on Netflix. While I was there, I added it to my queue.

You know, I watched The Matrix this weekend, and realized I still don't know what the heck that movie is about. I even posted that on Facebook. I made the mistake of seeing 2 before the first one and was totaly cofused. So I rented the first one. It did not help. If you try to make a logical piece out of it- your brain will explode. Just enjoy the special effects. -------------------- oh smeg

Yeah, The Matrix has awesome action sequences and that's what you should watch it for. Understanding = Impossible.
