Something seems odd about the whole situation. He just got up and left without any notice. Seems very weird if you ask me. All I know is he'll be missed and Accuweather will lose a lot of Pro subscribers. I already see many people saying they're canceling.

I didn't talk to Joe, so I don't know his reasoning, and not sure what he is doing next.

People move on all the time....I can think of several well known on air personalities who abruptly left their jobs for other things...let's not speculate or imply things that may not exist. Whatever Joe's reasoning, we wish him the best on whatever the future holds, and thank him for his service and dedication to all of us weather nuts here on the forums and reading his blog. smile.gif

I do wish him the best, long time follower, but no reasoning or announcement, even from the Accuweather company??? and he pretty much put Accuweather on the map, the world of media... He devoted his life to Accuweather.........just seems odd... dry.gif

Should have given him moveable type. That, and whatever senior AccuWx personnel accused him on 'mongering'...

Still, where else can I get 6 hour Euro data including 10 meter winds, CAPE, the full load?

Joe has family in SETX, and seems to love the football team of the Marching and Farming College almost as much as Penn State.

No state income tax. He'd be great doing TV weather down here.
