Crazy storm, ended up with about 20" out of it. The fact that it was heavy wet snow made it even worse, roofs collapsed and a lot of trees fell. I thought this was the storm I would remember for causing a lot of damage around here, that is until the mid March nor'easter hit, making this storm's damage seem much smaller than it actually was.

Down here near Baltimore, we escaped the "Snow" aspect of this storm and only accumulated about an inch. However one thing we did NOT escape was the WIND.
Several locations around Baltimore were recording wind gusts in the 50's and 60's for several hours! |

I dislike calling that storm "snowicane" because it takes meaning away from a true snowicane, which is an actual hurricane that produces snow when it goes far enough north. There was nothing tropical or subtropical about last year's storm, although it was nevertheless impressive in the areas it hit.
Of course, I got 0" from it. -------------------- Average snowfall: 81 inches
