A couple of weeks ago I stumbled across a Euro game on cable played in doors on a hard court. Kind of a mix between soccer and basketball. After I got really interested it disappeared and I don't even know what it's called to go looking for it.
Any suggestions? the ball is thrown, not kicked and the net looks like soccer or hockey. -------------------- oh smeg

That game is called "Handball", in Europe it is very popular....we actually played it some in high school... our soccer coach thought it might become popular in the US, but ......it was really fun though..very athletic game -------------------- Perception is everything

Its a fun game, I played it quite a bit in my younger days. Since its indoors i think its year-round. The rules are simple - you cannot step into the crease surrounding the goal (but you can jump in). Once the ball crosses the middle line no passing back. You can dribble and I think you can take 3 steps (maybe 2)

Its not a heavily televised sport, not even in Europe. You may be able to find some games online if you google "Handball" . yeah, I think you are right -------------------- oh smeg
