When my son is out of school.

4. Favorite summer memory as a child? as an adult? Staying up all night watching the Perseid Meteor Shower.....

10.When do the kids in your area get out for vacation and when do they go back? Kids got out yesterday and go back after Labor Day.

Well here in Albuquerque it get's really hot.

Just weddin' planning. Cake tasting, tux rentals, forcing bridesmaids to buy their dresses, etc.

They all involve camping.

Melons and the other fruits that are only ripe in summer.

I don't know. I just know it's in the afternoon when my apartment gets hot.

Inside! I wilt in the heat.

I'd like a garden. Apartment life doesn't suit well for gardening.

Camping and swimming.

I have no idea.

1.What are some real signs of summer for you?
I dread stepping outside my front door. Walking my pup is not as much fun as
it use to be. The pool is open. Traffic seems heavier.

2.Any plans for the summer?
Stay out of the heat and mark the calender till October.

3.Think of a song , that really puts you in the mood for summer.....
There are none.

4. Favorite summer memory as a child? as an adult?
Going to the beach but even then, my mom inexplicably failed to put sun block on me and I received two horrible sunburns as a result.

5. Favorite summer food?
Pasta salad

6.At what Temp do you decide it's time to turn on the A/C ?
Don't really go by the temp. Just when I get uncomfortably warm.

7.Are you more active in the summer heat, such as being outside or do you stay in under the A/C?
Gimme the AC

No place to garden where I live

9.What is your favorite summertime activity? camping,swimming, hiking ,road trips?
I'm just in survival mode during the summer.

10.When do the kids in your area get out for vacation and when do they go back?
Around the first of June, I think, is when they get out and return a week or two
before Labor Day.


Sorry not real imaginative questions lots goin on this week! They were great questions Angel! . I'm just not a summer person but still enjoyed answering...thank you for them!

Memorial Day Weekend, especially this year with temps in the upper 80s. Oh, and going back to my summer job in mid may.

If there is continuously temps around 80 or higher...this also depend on the humidity. Mid 80s+ for a couple days will do it too.

More active

No...I just personally won't get a lot of use out of it for myself

Road trips/vacations, though that's rare. Otherwise, you cannot beat swimming.

2.Any plans for the summer? To wait it out until cooler weather comes...preferrably in a cave or other air-conditioned building! Oh, and to get myself elected El Presidente in 2012!

7.Are you more active in the summer heat, such as being outside or do you stay in under the A/C? love the outdoors...but I work in a place with 9 ovens (each 50 yards long!) so my activity level is proportional to the level of heat exposed: the hotter it gets, the slower I go!

2.Any plans for the summer? Spending as much time as possible at our cabin.

4. Favorite summer memory as a child? as an adult? Spending time at my folks' cabin as a teenager in Northern Michigan. Those memories are irreplacable.

5. Favorite summer food? Iced coffee.

6.At what Temp do you decide it's time to turn on the A/C ? Around 90 with high humidity.

7.Are you more active in the summer heat, such as being outside or do you stay in under the A/C? I float in the pool.

8.Who gardens? I garden, but my plants are rather small right now.

10.When do the kids in your area get out for vacation and when do they go back? The get out 6/10 and return the Tuesday after Labor Day.
