I'll probably have a better idea on this by October when I look into this winter in more details, but my first guess for NYC would be late November/early December.

Jackson, MS - Early December if conditions come together just right (here's hoping!). It's happened before a couple winters ago.

Snowiest month is March 1870 I believe. 63" feel that month alone with 126" for the entire Winter I believe LOL. |

Average snowfall in Milwaukee has gone up in recent years. I think as of now it's just over 51". As for this year, I think my first flakes (trace of snow) will be the first week of November, and the first snowfall over a tenth of an inch will be just past the midway point of November. I can't remember the last solid November snowstorm, so I think we're due for something decent in November. Given climo, though, our first solid measurable snow may not even be until early December.
