This is all just a game to me, something to do at work as I can access my Vanguard account here, my 401k is in fixed income paying around 3%, that I don't play with, Roth IRA is for playing, and a new cash account for the house money will be safe in some Vanguard fund (till I spend it on a new pontoon boat, car and TOYS).....

Closed on the house, am now in the process of moving large amounts of money into trading accounts, both Roth and cash. Will be divesting of stocks and putting into GOLD (GLD) soon After reading the book "Aftershock".....

My BAC and NBL are almost back to where I bought them.......
If I had bought them 3 days later I would be sitting pretty right now.....

What site do you use to buy yours? Etrade is the major one I've heard about. I have watched stocks but never really put any money into them. I thought of investing a little bit just so I can learn more about it but not 100% sure where to start.

The hardest part for me was getting over the desire to kick myself when I sold something thinking it was at the peak but then it went up a little more and likewise buying something at what I thought was the bottom only to see it fall a little more If you trust your judgement of picking the peak and valley then you'll stop minding being off by a smidge in either direction at first...

Paw has just saying last night how he was kicking himself for not buying BAC when it was at $5.90.

I bought NBL a month ago for 82 it dropped to 69 in 3 days Sold it at 81 two weeks later Closed on Friday at 90.......
