I just thought this would be cool to see what area gets the first of the snow this winter and when other areas get theirs...
When Did You 1st See Snow this Winter Season? The reason Im putting this topic so early is because Elliot Abrams and Evan Myers both mentioned the possibility of snow showers on their blogs... They said it could possibly be on saturday in the higher elevations!!! From NOAA: First extreme date of snowfall.... http://hurricane.ncdc.noaa.gov/climaps/snow33c.pdf Also here are alot of other snow maps from NOAA that are very informative.... When on site, on the side there will be NCDC/WELCOME/MOST POPULAR/QUICK SEARCH <---- CLICK ON QUICK SEARCH!!! Beginning of October is accurate for my area, so I can at least state that the first map is accurate IMBY. -------------------- Average snowfall: 81 inches
