170,000 on one. 160,000 on another and the newest has 65,000.
Here's a question to add if you want. Do you drive it til it's dead or do you trade yours in often? We usually drive ours til the very end of their life. Either the engine gives or the tranny or where it just becomes too expensive to repair. |

When I purchased the car, it already had 70,000 miles on it. I only had it for 2 months, and at the end it had 75,000 miles on it. I put 5,000 miles on it in just 2 months

The girl's 2009 VW Jetta has 29K and my 2009 Kia Rio5 LX has 33K. The VW had 27K when we bought it a year ago, and the Kia had 6 on it when we bought it in 2009.

My car had 80 miles on it when I got it, and is up to 71k. I got it in 2004. I really hate driving.

149,000 miles on the '94 mercury sable I drive.
8,000 miles on the 2011 chevy malibu I traded the '07 cobalt in on. ( wifes car ) I normally drive a vehicle until it literally falls apart but I have to keep one around that can handle long trips since we are atleast 400 miles from our nearest relatives and over 1300 miles from the rest. |

Nov 7: Just this past week we passed 250,000 on our 2000 "Bonnie"; on its second transmission(about three years back), original motor is awesome, love this car; would buy a later model when the time comes
Nov 10: Last night, '95 Chevy Van turned 240,000 Yeah, that's right, we are driving two ticking time bombs. |

Here's a question to add if you want. Do you drive it til it's dead or do you trade yours in often? We usually drive ours til the very end of their life. Either the engine gives or the tranny or where it just becomes too expensive to repair. Typically we drive them until they die. However, the Jetta is nice to drive around here within an hour, but beyond that I do not trust it. My daughter participates in competitive cheerleading which requires us to drive pretty much anywhere within a six-hour radius throughout the winter & early spring, so we are going to buy something much newer, bigger, and unfortunately more gas-thirsty. We also travel back and forth between NC & MD a lot, as well as weekends at the beach, etc. The Jetta is just not big enough. My kids are getting older and want to take friends with us places, etc... I just don't know *what* to buy. I would really like 3 rows so I can separate my kids when necessary, or one of us adults can climb back there and nap on the long trips, or whatever. -------------------- Don't try to argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. If it is that unbelievable... it is probably too good to be true! |
