I would like to complain about the above poster's complaint which reminds
me somewhat of the "locked in a restaurant" story in the new this morning
(go take the poll on the other side rolleyes.gif ). MM would have us believe that he
was locked inside the thread and forced to read every sentence of every
paragraph until he was full of it (I even gave fair warning somewhere near
the beginning) when he could have stopped at any time. Kind of like the
diners could have stopped eating at any time and got up and left if the
service was so bad. But I'm sure he'll disagree on every one of those points
(I'm counting on it) plus say that I've written another long-winded post! laugh.gif

Which reminds me....I think I have something mm won't complain about (stay tuned

The flats sound great but it would be way cool if you would wear the wedding
shoes on your anniversaries like the 5th, 10, etc or may just every decade.
You could wear something white, maybe a suit? Reminiscent of your wedding
day. *sigh* Don't give me away but I'm quite the romantic rolleyes.gif !

What the heck is going on around here...People are breaking rules! Banned for not complaining!

Idée is French for 'Idea' and Idée Fixe is now used in English language as a term for a 'fixation' or 'obsession'.

Thanks for the cyber-hug Wings... rolleyes.gif

Okay enough platitudes to appease the masses (or maybe messes?).....

I would like to complain about several things....First of all, what is the big idea (idée:fr) with people disobeying the rules....Banning on whatever thread they like, conversing on a complaint thread, then they turned 'First Thing That Comes To Mind' into an 'ask a question' thread. If only Ironwood were here to see the travesty of people ignoring the rules....it's First Thing That Comes To Mind....not lolly-gagging around...let's blab about ourselves 'thread'....got FB for that kind of stuff...

Idée is really concerned that he may have that he may have to: A. throw a tantrum ...B. have a conniption fit..or possibly C. Take a deep breath and ignore the etiquette errors of his fellow posters... dry.gif

It really gets frustrating, and hard to have fun when people have an apparent disregard for convention (or conventions for that matter)....

Idée is going to have to reconsider his tactics and start posting shorter posts, with less information contained therein so that he gets his posts read and understood....Here is a sample

OMG! Dot's shoes from WOO really rock!.. like!.. ++=Good

word.........Idée

Complaining this morning that I have to wait too long to get my 'idee fix'
this week. I was beginning to show signs of idee withdrawal such as short-term
memory loss and a weird craving for Milo dog snacks. It's hard on an
already socially and temperment challenged fairie sad.gif . I should never
have to wait longer than a day.
Also complaining about idee's long post even as he complains about
long posts! So typically idee (and so cute!). mm will not be pleased
at seeing so many words in one post...we're supposed to be on a
posting diet huh.gif .

I wanna complain because I had to be up at six to eat eggs because I need some food in my belly when I go drink a yucky glucose drink and then have my blood drawn. I hate having my blood drawn. The last time they stuck me like 6 times per arm, finally found a vein, and then I nearly passed out. They made me lie back and have a sucker until my hands stopped tingling. I left with a giant bruise and it hurt the whole time.
The only upside is knowing that this blood test is important to my health and the baby's.

I can sympathize with all of that! Having blood drawn can be a nightmare if you
don't have the right person doing it. You may have veins like I do...the kind
that tend to roll around. To make things go quicker I have them take it from
the back of my hand and if they're not super-tallented at this I tend to
scream...rather loudly! laugh.gif Luckily for me there's an expert at my doctor's
office but she was gone the last time I went. Her replacement caused my
hand to swell for 2 weeks and look like I had tried to put my fist through
a brick wall. She won't be touching me again. mad.gif

Ugh! That sounds horrible. I wish I lived near my sisters. They do this stuff for a living and I'm sure they'd be careful not to hurt their baby sis.

You should definitely be near your sisters during this wonderful (bur most trying)

I would like to complain about people who draw blood at doctor's offices. They are not supposed to be 'blood letting' like the quacks of Medieval times, nor are they to bruise and injure the patient (but patience is required). My mom had blood taken every few weeks and they would bruise her almost every time. It is bad enough that our medical system is a giant money driven system that does not treat the individual, the quality of the care has declined precipitously in the last few years despite rising insurance and medical costs. Our so-called cures are based on poisons created by giant pharmaceutical companies who have invested billions into creating and advertizing these 'cures'.
Holistic health is based on treating the entire human being not just the 'symptoms' and finding the cause to rebuild, and replenish the bodies own healing abilities. It seems that our so-called modern medicine is not that far removed from the 'bloodletting' days of scientific approach to human health. Yes we have made great strides in many areas, but treating each patient as an individual is not one of them... mad.gif
